Approximately 250 representatives of the government, business and science from Russia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Thailand, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Hungary attended the Conference.
The major issue was the electronic exchange of data between trusted parties, particularly the cross-border exchange of e-documents. The cross-border system for e-signature authentication based on the RFC 3029, RFC 2560 and RFC 3161 protocols and developed in co-operation between Unizeto Technologies SA (Poland), Top Cross Co. Ltd. (Moscow, Russia) and ANK S.A. (St. Petersburg, Russia) was presented. The system worked in real time on two DVCS servers at CERTUM General Certification Authority (Unizeto – Szczecin) and ANK Certification Authority (St. Petersburg) respectively and handled documents that were electronically signed in Russia (following the act on e-signature of the Russian Federation, GOST encryption algorithm) and Poland (following the act on e-signature of the Republic of Poland, RSA encryption algorithm).
The participants from Poland made 3 presentations: ‘New PKI qualified services (OCSP, DVCS, DA) in Poland’, ‘Electronic Delivery Authority’ (Unizeto) and ‘Non-repudiation within PKI – a basis for settling A2B and A2C disputes’ (Technical University of Szczecin).
The final event of the Conference was awarding nominations for outstanding achievements in the field of PKI. Unizeto Technologies SA won the award in the category called ‘Foreign certification authority most actively co-operating with Russia’s PKI in 2006’.
